Last night was the opening, one of the most anticipated things in my life. I should really say that my "dream " of being in an exhibition was so vastly different to what actually occurred, mainly because of what is actually being exhibited and how we came about to exhibiting it.

I'm a communication designer, if I was to exhibit in a typical exhibition, it would be mostly flat 2D objects, printouts, posters, books and may be the odd conceptual project. But having taken that whirlwind of a studio called Poise with those crazy crazy Architecture, Landscape, Fashion and Industrial students, doing anything seemed possible! :bucktooth:

I know some of you live in Melbourne, so the best thing for you to do is head down to the Melbourne Museum, turn left once you step inside the first glass doors, go down the escalators and take a look around. Some of the models are simply priceless, they are absolutely beautiful.

Now I shall go back to healing my headache. :)

This is the exhibition that I have alluded to in a previous journal, and stop giggling at the name because I know you are! Website completely made in two and a half weeks, in about a group of four (volume of work depending on skill-set) I might submit some stills here but its hard to give proper credit. If you're in Melbourne and am interested in architecture and design, I suggest you head down there from the 10th August and see what we've been up to.

That is the exciting part of the news, here is a rant.

I'm sure everyone of us can point to teachers and lecturers that we've disliked over our years of education - for whatever reason they may be. But I cannot believe how final year students of a decent course can go about and pound a lecturer to the pavement for reasons which I completely do not know of or understand. Not to say their slight concerns are not unfounded, but I think its completely out of line for a group of twentysomethings to behave like they are in high school. It makes me quite angry to see the peers that I'll be working with act with an intent that doesn't benefit anything except their own ego. Its disappointing and of all the time I have spent in this course, this is the only time that I've ever really felt the need to say - to my friends and my peers! - "shut the fuck up."

"Holidays" have drifted by, I've had a taste but still not enough to grant it the full (unquoted) glory of HOLIDAY. I really don't know what to say, slightly in a state of shock at all the work thats been done over this month with still another month choke full of work.

Just here to say I'm still alive, and I'm just here to get myself away from everything else. :)
