Utopian Tree

I've had the idea of making a piece with this title for a while now, it was just a matter of knowing what I wanted to say with it.
The colour approach turned out to be the highlight of this piece, I've been experimenting with transparencies for a while now and overlaying hundreds and thousands of shapes onto top of each other gave me this effect that is more random than gradients and much smoother than simply using a few tones and gradual show them.

The elements in here all came from an olive tree vector I had done earlier for a project - which didn't work out in the end. Some were converted into solid shapes while some were left as a faint linework (which were the leaves) I hope you all see something from it, I don't want to be mindlessly doing work anymore~
